March 15: Social worker and psychologist Dr. Leslie Beth Wish will discuss her research on women’s relationships. Mary Pender Greene, a successful Midtown Manhattan private practice practitioner, will share techniques she uses when working with couples.
March 22: Samira Beckwith, recipient of the 2009 National Association of Social Workers Foundation’s Knee/Lifetime Achievement Award in Health and Mental Health Practice, will talk about her work with clients in end-of-life situations. Social worker Mary Raymer, co-author of Leadership in Everyday Life: It Really Is All About You, will discuss her book and her work in hospice settings.
March 29: Clare Brown will talk about what tasks a social worker is responsible for in a nursing home setting.
